Fresh Old Tools For Sale

I posted a new batch of tools for sale today. It’s a good assortment of stuff that includes lots of chisels and turning tools, Stanley planes from 3-8, a number of usable dado planes from a tiny 3/16 to a massive 1 1/8in, some fantastic sharpening and honing gear, and lots of other fun stuff. Please feel free to have a look and let me know if you find anything that interest you.

I want to thank the rush of new subscribers I’ve had this past week. A number of you were referred to me by Ron Herman- welcome and thanks for joining. Please- if you were referred to me or if someone recommended me please drop me a note to say hi and to let me know who to thank. Referrals mean a lot to me.

I want to let you all know that my good friend Matt Cianci has a new website up and running to promote his handsaw business. Matt is one of the best saw smiths out there and one of the few people I would send my own saws to. Matt just “went pro”, taking up the saw business as his full time work. As a result his wait time is the lowest you’ll find and his work is always top notch. Check out his website here: http://www.thesawwright.com

That’s all for now. As always, if there is a particular tool you are looking for that you don’t see listed please feel free to drop me a note to let me know. I may have it in stock or might be able to find it for you.

Thanks for reading!

Ah! One other thing. I’m working with a new camera this month after my trusty old Canon point-and-shoot died after a fall to the concrete floor. It was a good camera, and worked hard these past few years shooting over 35,000 photos of tools. I’m using a new camera now and still trying to get the hang of it. Some of the photos came out a little dark and maybe out of focus. This new camera also lacks the close-up ability of the old one. I’m working on this and hope to keep improving the quality of the photos I post. On the upside, the photos are slightly larger this time around which I hope will help you.

Just In Time For Father’s Day- New Tools For Sale Today!

Good morning! Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads out there. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend. We’re hosting a family gathering at our place which I always enjoy. It’s also close to the start of summer and the weather here is just beautiful. The tomatos I mentioned planting last time are now at least a foot taller and growing quick. The blueberries are almost ripe and we’re getting some great greens and peas from the spring garden.

Today’s list of tools For Sale includes some good chisels, bench planes, marking and measuring equipment, and a lot of other assorted goodies. I’m packed with tools at the moment having just acquired a massive amount of stuff from an estate of a fellow tool collector and woodworker. If you are looking for something in particular please don’t hesitate to contact me.

One last thing- please keep in mind that email is unpredictable and a non-guaranteed form of communication. I often see messages take hours to make to to me after they were sent. Please don’t hesitate to send email to both my jclark@hyperkitten.com and jclark42@gmail.com email addresses to improve the odds that your email will arrive in a timely manner.

Thanks for reading! Enjoy your weekend.

New Old Tools For Sale Today

Good Afternoon!

Today I added some new old tools available for sale today on my Tools For Sale page. I made a smaller version of this page for the many of you viewing this on mobile devices with small screens. The “mobile version” can be found here. As always, if you want to purchase a particular tool please email me at jclark@hyperkitten.com and please include your shipping address.

Some updates from here: It’s been a while since my last update. I’ve been busy gathering tools and working with customers one-on-one to fulfill requests. As a reminder, I’m always happy to take requests for specific tools. I may have them in stock already or I will keep an eye out for them.

Around here spring was here in full force and we took the opportunity to plant all of our summer vegetables this past weekend. I’m hoping for a good tomato crop this year!I haven’t had time for much woodworking, with the exception of building some new raised beds for our garden. With summer coming soon we’ll have lots to do with the kids, though I’ll try to have at least two more updates of new tools coming out this month so keep an eye out!

As always, thanks for reading.
