Fresh Old Tools For Sale

I posted a new batch of tools for sale today. It’s a good assortment of stuff that includes lots of chisels and turning tools, Stanley planes from 3-8, a number of usable dado planes from a tiny 3/16 to a massive 1 1/8in, some fantastic sharpening and honing gear, and lots of other fun stuff. Please feel free to have a look and let me know if you find anything that interest you.

I want to thank the rush of new subscribers I’ve had this past week. A number of you were referred to me by Ron Herman- welcome and thanks for joining. Please- if you were referred to me or if someone recommended me please drop me a note to say hi and to let me know who to thank. Referrals mean a lot to me.

I want to let you all know that my good friend Matt Cianci has a new website up and running to promote his handsaw business. Matt is one of the best saw smiths out there and one of the few people I would send my own saws to. Matt just “went pro”, taking up the saw business as his full time work. As a result his wait time is the lowest you’ll find and his work is always top notch. Check out his website here: http://www.thesawwright.com

That’s all for now. As always, if there is a particular tool you are looking for that you don’t see listed please feel free to drop me a note to let me know. I may have it in stock or might be able to find it for you.

Ah! One other thing. I’m working with a new camera this month after my trusty old Canon point-and-shoot died after a fall to the concrete floor. It was a good camera, and worked hard these past few years shooting over 35,000 photos of tools. I’m using a new camera now and still trying to get the hang of it. Some of the photos came out a little dark and maybe out of focus. This new camera also lacks the close-up ability of the old one. I’m working on this and hope to keep improving the quality of the photos I post. On the upside, the photos are slightly larger this time around which I hope will help you.
