Ohio Tool Routers


Production History

From about 1900, the O71 and O71 1/2 routers manufactured by Ohio Tool followed the Stanley line. It is believed that the lettering was changed when Ohio Tool started making routers for the Keen Kutter line.

Company History

Ohio Tool was founded in 1823 in Columbus, OH and incorporated with Auburn Tool in 1893. In 1914 the company moved to Charleston, WV, where it ended business in 1920.
