Thanks for stopping by. I'm Josh. For the past 15 years, I've run this crazy thing called Hyperkitten Tool Company. I've had a sudden influx of new customers visiting my website, so I decided it was time to reintroduce myself to the community.
This is me in my shop, looking uncomfortable in front of a camera.
I sell vintage woodworking and machinist tools to people who want to use them. It's as simple as that. Everything I sell has been thoroughly inspected, restored if necessary, and is guaranteed to function properly.
I've been using vintage hand tools for more than 25 years. I know what to look for in a working tool. In addition, I have a no-questions-asked return policy. You have 30 days to return an item and receive a refund. If I made a mistake in the listing or missed something, I'll pay return postage.
It's easy. Take a look at my tool list. If you find something you like, just send me an email with your name, shipping address, and the item number(s). You'll get a prompt reply from me, along with an email invoice. If you have questions, I'm happy to answer them. If you need something specific that's not listed, I'm happy to look for it.
Short answer: No, I don't. I post tools as often as I can, as time allows. On average, I add about 150 new items to the list per week. That number varies depending on my schedule. While I'm no longer able to send out new tool alerts, some people use free tools like distill.io and visualping.io to generate alerts when the greeting at the top of the Tools For Sale page is updated. I can't offer support for these tools, but they seem to work well for some folks.
I respond to all email inquiries as fast as I can. Sometimes life gets in the way. In addition to my tool business, I have a day job and a family to manage. Tools are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be assured that I respond to all emails in the order they are received. Once payment is received, I ship orders as quickly as I can, usually within 1-2 days of receiving payment unless you request otherwise.
Thanks for visiting. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.
