This example dates to the early SW era based on the decal on the tool and the box label. The tool is in excellent working order, with only light finish loss. The box has good corners and most of the original label. A great working saw set. $45

This is one is for the axe collectors. It's one of the least common and most desirable axes in the Plumb lineup. The story behind the cedar axe is well-documented. Plumb appears to have picked up the pattern in the 1930s. It is a specialized lightweight axe intended for cutting through the tough scrubby cedars in the Texas wilds. This example has seen little use. The bit has evidence of being honed a few times and the handle has some wear at the usual spot from missed strikes. The stamp is crystal clear. The handle is original. It has a tight check at the rear and the afore mentioned wear, both of which are clearly shown in the photos. It's a rare opportunity to acquire a nice example complete with its original handle. $275

This hammer was made for the Bellknap Hardware Co. of Louisville, KY and sold under the Blue Grass brand. It looks like a bricklayer's hammer, but the head is small and only 12oz. It's in excellent condition with no wear and a perfect handle. $28

This is an early, clearly hand-forged, farrier's buttress. It has an early repair to the handle but still looks great. I presume it's usable but I have no way of testing it. $15

This is a top quality Hock hand plane blade which will work in a Stanley no. 8 or similar. It's in near-new condition with no damage at all. It retails for $84 new today. $70
