This is an early example made by Fray and Pigg in Bridgeport, CT. It has an 8in swing and is in perfectly usable condition. The chuck has no wear. The pad works smoothly. It's a nearly indestructible brace capable of almost any job. $35

This odd brace was made by Millers Falls based on Stephen McClellan's June 8, 1897 and June 29, 1897 patents. This example has both patent dates stamped on the crank arm. It's an interesting design that allows the brace to work into corners and other tight spaces.. It's mechanically perfect. It works smoothly and has minimal wear. It has much of the original red paint, black japanning, and nickel plating. The rosewood handles are in great shape. It's a hard brace to find, especially in as good a condition as this one. $115

This bit is new in its original point of sale display. It has both jaws and can bore holed from 7/8in to 3in diameter. It can bore odd size holes with ease and is ideal for larger holes where a dedicated auger bit may not be available. $28

These bits were made by Swan in Seymour, CT. They are in their original box which has a complete inner advertising label. These are Irwin pattern bits with a single twist and single coarse lead screw, ideal general purpose bits that will work in any sort of wood. The sizes included are 4,6,8,12,14,16. They all have minimal wear, good lead screws, spurs and cutters. $80

This is a good clean example in perfect working order. It has a full magazine of bits in the handle. It's a very useful tool for quickly and accurately boring small holes. $26
