This drawknife was made by the Douglass Mfg. Co. of Seymour, CT. This company was later purchased by James Swan and continued to make tools well into the 20th century. This is an early example with simple bent tang handles and a forged blade. It has some light pitting on the back but it will still take an edge and be quite useful. The bevel is in good shape currently and decently sharp. An early example that still has some working life ahead of it $30

This is a high-quality American spokeshave made of beech with a brass wear plate in front of the mouth. The blade is 3in wide but has a chip in the corner reducing the working width to 2 3/4in. The blade is long and clean, free of pitting. It's a good, usable spokeshave, not a collector's item by any means. $25

This is the medium size version of the Disston Triumph. It would be suited to setting the teeth on a coarse handsaw or larger crosscut saw. It's in excellent working order with minimal wear to the anvil or plunger $15

This is a high-quality hammer made for Montgomery Ward and sold under the Ward's Master name. The 13oz head is perfect for driving small nails at the workbench. The face is clean and the claws have no damage. The handle is perfect. $20

This is a top-quality carpenters hammer with a bell head, long, sweeping claws, and an excellent hickory handle. This example has the milled, checkered face. $25

I'm really struggling with what to write here. Let's start with the fact that all the pieces are present and it is unused. As I understand it, its purpose is to allow the user to cut tapered sliding dovetails in wood to a tolerance most machinists would be proud of. From a machining perspective, the various parts are well-made. I envy the precision involved in making this thing. It's offered at a steep discount from the original list price. That's all I got.
