Hi everyone. Lots of new tools this week, along with an update. I get a lot of requests for handsaws that are sharp and ready to use, which makes sense. Sharpening saws has a steep learning curve, and some people just aren't interested in doing it themselves. I'm happy to say that I recently began working with Daniel McGill of Waterford Saws to offer a limited number of freshly sharpened and restored saws for sale. Read more details here. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your support! --Josh

That's a tenth of a tenthousandth of an inch or a tenth of a micron. For hobbyist garage machinists, that's probably accurate enough. This is a nearly miniature marking gauge made of boxwood. The beam is only 5in long. It has no provision for a locking mechanisim, relying on friction alone to hold it in place.
