This plane was made right around 1910 based on the type studies and the logos. It's all complete, original, and in perfect working condition. The blade is sharp. The plane performs perfectly. It will be ready to use out of the box. It has not been cleaned or restored. It's one of the least common Bedrock models, and an exceptional example $245

This is a "type 4" no. 8 made between 1875-1884. It's in good, usable condition, free of damage or excessive wear. The sole is flat as per my straightedge. The sides and sole have minor discoloration. The blade-adjusting wheel works well. The tote has a small chip from the tip of the horn. The blade is original and near original length. It's surprisingly clean and free of pitting. It's a solid working example from an early era. $155

This plane is perfectly usable. It's been restored and has no collector's value. The sides and sole are clean. The bed has been repainted. The frog and lever cap are also painted. The lever cap is original to the plane, just painted black. The blade is a later replacement from the "type 11" era. It's near factory-new length. The area near the bevel has been lapped clean and flat. The tote is excellent. The knob has a repaired crack that's quite stable. It's a bargain working example of the largest metallic jointer Stanley sold. $135

This is a pre-Stanley Gage no. 4 mad in Vineland, NJ. It's the cleanest example I've seen. The wood is perfect. The finish on the knob and tote is perfect. Even the cap on the top of the tote is perfect. The metal insert in the sole is level with the rest of the sole. The blade is sharp and the plane is ready to use. An exceptional example. $90
